Whether this is your family’s first year with Science Olympiad or you’re a returning parent, thank you for supporting your child’s interest in STEM. This page is your go-to resource for understanding what the season looks like, how you can help, and what to expect on competition days.
Science Olympiad is a nationwide academic competition where students compete in events spanning biology, chemistry, geoscience, engineering, and more. Think of it as track and field, but for science! Teams compete in 23 events, which may be test-based, lab-based, or hands-on build events.
Northview has a long tradition in Science Olympiad. Beginning in 2007, the team has consistently ranked 1st in the region and top 10 in the state. The team is coached by Mr. Andrew Roth & Mrs. Lauren Stewart. We are committed to fostering a love of science and teamwork skills at Northview.
